Так как английский я знаю очень классно, решил бесплатно преподать
вед урок иностранного языка в форме следующий историй.
a few days ago my g-f and i dined in a russian eatery. the waitress
taking our order neglected to mention that soup comes with pork meat
and this was not specified on the menu either. being kosher jews, we
explained this situation to the manager and asked not to be billed for
the soup. After a minutes conversation, the manager said ok to our
request. i thanked him in advance. to my great suprise he did NOT
remove the charge from the receipt and when i called him over he
stated we had no agreements. infuriated with such lack of courtesy,
i told him that he just lost two customers and we will spread the word
about this place. as we were heading towards the door to leave, i made
several observarions that i would like to disacuss on whimit
1) russian storeowners/managers are rude and obnoxious, placing
business above the needs of a customer even if it means losing one.
2) russian people order and consume excessive amounts of vodka. often
vodka is ordered to suppliment lunch or diner
3) russian men love jump suits, especially when the jacket is worn
over a wife-beater
4) russians love to play cards when waiting for their food to arrive
Please share your opinions here about my dining experience as well as
these observartions. thank you
